ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INTO MALAYSIA

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they meet Malaysia’s entry and visa requirements before travelling. General Travel Guidelines

• Passport must be valid for at least six (6) months
• Ensure compliance with the permitted length of stay
• All travellers must complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
• To be submitted at least three (3) days before arrival

Most Common Countries – Quick Reference

Good news for many EDTM participants — passport holders from the following countries can enter Malaysia without a visa for short stays, subject to current immigration regulations:

Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, United States, Germany, United Kingdom

Note: MDAC submission is still required for all travellers, regardless of visa-free status.
